Leigh Anne Treistman

Leigh Anne Treistman

Leigh Anne Treistman is a long-time teacher and former camp director who is currently teaching photojournalism and has taught debate, and English, as well as advises students in an award winning student-led media program. Some of her students have been recognized on the state level for their photography work. She has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in human services from St. Edwards University, as well as certified in journalism education by the Texas State Board of Education. She is a member of the Association of Texas Photography Instructors, Texas Association of Journalism Educators, and Journalism Educators Association.

Stephen Green

Stephen Green, CJE

Stephen is a teacher where he leads classes in photojournalism, design, journalism, and advises students in an award winning student-led media program that has been recognized on the local, state and national level. He has a bachelor’s degree in multiplatform journalism from Sam Houston State University, and will receive a master’s in journalism and mass communication from Kent State University in August 2021, and is a Certified Journalism Educator with the Journalism Educators Association, as well as being certified in journalism education by the Texas State Board of Education. The publications he has overseen have won recognition on the local, state and national level for photography, reporting and design. He’s also a high school UIL Academic coordinator and co-coach of the speech and debate team. He is a member of the Association of Texas Photography Instructors, Texas Association of Journalism Educators, and Journalism Educators Association.
